John is a fully qualified professional photographer, with a number of distinctions to his credit.  He was born in Belfast and lived there throughout the so called “troubles”, later in life moving to Banbridge, Co Down.

He first became interested in photography mainly through the impact of images in the local news papers. Images that tell a story. 

John’s passion for photography continued to grow, leading John to his decision to formalise his hobby and become a qualified photographer.  He studied at Lurgan College and gained an HND in Photography with Distinction.  He now works as a photographer on a part time basis covering a wide range of assignments, including weddings and commercial shoots.  Working part time has many advantages allowing John to devote his time and energy to specific assignments.

John has been involved as a youth worker for over thirty years and has developed great rapport with the young people he comes in contact with.  Johns continued experience in the realm of Health and Safety in the work place gives him a distinct advantage when it comes to working on location.
